Special Saturday Guest Host: Martin Lewis!

British-born, US-based radio host Martin Lewis is considered among the world's leading Beatles scholars.

His 39-year history of Beatles-related work as a writer, radio host, producer, publicist and marketing strategist commenced in 1967 when, as an enthusiastic teenager, he was engaged to compile the discography for Hunter Davies' official biography of The Beatles. He has produced several Beatles-related projects including the DVD Edition of "A Hard Day's Night" - he was Associate Producer of the DVD "The Ed Sullivan Shows Featuring The Beatles" - and he wrote, hosted and produced the only TV documentary made about the Beatles' Anthology project - "Re-Meet The Beatles!" (E! - 1995)

He was US marketing strategist for the Beatles' "Anthology" and "Live At The BBC" projects - campaigns which reunited him with his mentor and first employer - original Beatles publicist Derek Taylor (for whom he worked 1971-1973.) He undertook all the marketing for the US theatrical reissue (in 2000) and the worldwide DVD release (in 2002) of "A Hard Day's Night," and the worldwide DVD release (in 2004) of "The Ed Sullivan Shows Featuring The Beatles."

Lewis has worked as a producer/director with Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and Beatles producer Sir George Martin - and he has also worked as a marketing strategist for Sir Paul.

In 2004, Lewis instigated, produced and hosted the multiple celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the Beatles' first US visit. He also spearheaded the extensive publicity and marketing of the landmark anniversary. Lewis has hosted America's premier Beatles fan conventions in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles since 1992. Lewis created and hosts the Official Brian Epstein Website and spearheads the campaign to have Epstein inducted into the Non-Performers Section of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

Lewis hosts his own daily radio show - heard nationally on Steven Van Zandt's Underground Garage channel on Sirius Satellite Radio (Sirius 25) - Monday-Friday 5am-9am PT.
